A company has asked you to take a short interview with LessRounds. It’s a conversation with an AI interviewer that you can do whenever suits you. Here is everything you need to know.
How it works
Enter your name and email. We send you a six-digit code to confirm it’s really you. No account, no password.
A quick test makes sure everything works. You’ll see how long the interview takes and agree to it being recorded.
The AI asks questions out loud and listens. It may ask a follow-up. Then you’re done, and the company takes it from there.
Before you start
Background noise is the most common reason words go missing from a transcript.
It stops the interviewer’s voice echoing back into your microphone.

The interview happens in one sitting, so start with enough battery.
Specific stories score better than general statements. What happened, what you did, how it ended.
Take a second to think before you answer. The interviewer waits until you’ve finished.
The hiring team at the company that sent you the link. LessRounds doesn’t share your interview with anyone else, and other companies can’t see it.
The AI writes up and scores your answers, and the hiring team reads that, watches parts of the recording, and decides who goes to the next round. A person makes that decision, not the AI.
No. You’ll see a thank-you screen when you finish. The company will contact you about next steps.
The words you say. It doesn’t judge your face, your room, your clothes or your voice, and it doesn’t mark you down for switching languages or for grammar.
If the company chose an audio-only interview, yes: you just need a microphone. Video interviews work best on a laptop or computer with a webcam.
No. The AI interview happens once, so every candidate has the same chance. If you leave before the interview part, you can come back to the same link and continue.
Probably not. Your answers are saved as you go. If the recording didn’t finish uploading, it’s kept in your browser and uploads when you next open the link, within 48 hours, on the same device.

If the link doesn’t work or something breaks, email support@lessrounds.ai with the link and what happened. Questions about the job, the timeline or the result should go to the company that sent it.
